About Yarrow
Yarrow C. Allaire is a committed criminal defense attorney serving the people of New Mexico. Born and raised in Albuquerque, Yarrow takes great pride in representing her community. Yarrow graduated from Highland High School and went on to earn her Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and Geography from The University of New Mexico. Yarrow spent several years as a high school social studies teacher in the Rio Grande Valley in Texas and in Santa Fe before attending The University of New Mexico School of Law.
Yarrow was awarded The Child & Family Justice Scholarship to continue the advocacy for children and their families that she began in the classroom. In law school Yarrow was the Co-Editor in Chief of the Tribal Law Journal, earned a certificate in Indian Law, and was awarded the Dean’s Award for her contributions to the law school community. She is most proud of the fact that she was selected by her classmates as the lawyer they would pick if they needed a criminal defense attorney.
Before starting her own law practice, Yarrow spent several years working as a public defender in Albuquerque. There she gained tremendous experience in defense everything from traffic to first degree felonies. As a public defender, Yarrow ensured that her clients got the best possible resolution of their case and had someone in their corner to fight for them no matter what.
Yarrow’s practice focuses on criminal defense — from DWI and misdemeanors through serious felony charges — as well as expungement and the everyday legal matters that come up in people's lives. Whatever your situation, Yarrow will make sure you understand what's happening at each step of the way, and will fight for you at every turn.
When not in the courtroom, Yarrow enjoys her time with her two children and husband and goes on runs in our beautiful Bosque along the Rio Grande.
